Burmese Tattoo handle (Hnitkwasok)

This is an exceptionally rare and elegant bronze tattoo tool counter balance done in a Burmese style.  The Snub nose Money at the end of the handle is the Monkey King or Sun Wukong. He has amazing strength and is able to support the weight of two heaven mountains on his shoulders while running "with the speed of a meteor". Sun Wukong has 72 unique powers, including the ability to transform into animals and objects. He is a skilled fighter, capable of defeating the best warriors of heaven.

Burmese tattoos are traditional tattoos that have been practiced in Myanmar for centuries by various ethnic groups, including the Bamar, Shan, and Karen.
